Case study: GrowthSpree

How GrowthSpree grew AI citations 16x in six months.

From about 900 to about 14,600 Copilot citations a month, and now 60+ new sales opportunities every month.

We ran Salient on our own site, with the same engine and team that would run your account, before offering it to a single client.

The honest limits. One AI engine only, because Copilot is the only one that shares citation counts. A citation isn't a click. And this is our own site, so read it as proof of the method, not a forecast for yours.

06Questions

Questions about this case study

How did GrowthSpree get 48,800 AI citations?

GrowthSpree ran Salient on its own site, growthspreeofficial.com, from February to July 2026. The same team that runs client accounts researched the questions buyers ask AI, published answer-first pages with schema and llms.txt, and refreshed pages when their citations dropped.

Which AI engine is the 48,800 from?

Microsoft Copilot. The figure comes from the AI performance report in Bing Webmaster Tools, the one AI engine that shares citation counts with site owners. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini do not, so they are not included.

Is this a client result?

No. GrowthSpree builds and runs Salient, so this is our own site, and we show it as proof of the method, not as a forecast for anyone else. For a client result, read the Propelius case study: AI-crawler visits went from zero to 5,630 in ten weeks.

How many sales opportunities does GrowthSpree see now?

More than 60 new sales opportunities every month, tracked in HubSpot, alongside over $165K in influenced pipeline.

Will my results look the same?

Not exactly. Results depend on your category, your starting point and how many buyer questions are open to win. The method and the team are the same, and your report will use the same sources so you can check it yourself.
